My DIY Dust Collector

I thought I should up my defense with the air born dust in the air in my shop, so I put together this with an old furnace fan I got from my local HVAC company for $25. It should help the air quality in my shop. Give me your thoughts.

Thats all I had and I scrolled right in front of it .Mine was the a.c. intake.And there was zero dust in the rest of the house with the pleated paper filters.. Your going to love this set up !

 Looks like you are getting your shop set up just the way you want it. I too am planning on redoing my shop ater the holidays. I will keep your project in mind as I do mine, You seem to have incorporated a lot of great ideas.

I bought a Jet air filter to use in my shop. Paid about $300.00 for it. Looking at what you have, it appears to do everything mine does, only for a fraction of the cost. Good job!

I have to report, I am very happy with the results of my air quality in my shop, I have had it running for a week now, ran the planer the other day and had to clean the filters when I was done, so it is sucking alot of air.
