  1. If it is not too big I use Cedar fencing boards. Inexpensive & last a long time. I have a couple of signs I use outside my camper and I made them with that. A good coat of Minwax polyurethane varnish makes it last even longer.
  2. I have not been on too much the last 9 months and was not aware there was a newer version than .48 which I have used a bit. I will be interested to find out if the .92 is better, because I might upgrade. Thanks.
  3. Definitely a good example of "Necessity is the mother of all invention".
  4. Woke up to 22° in SW Louisiana.
  5. After you have the pattern set up as you want, draw a box around the entire project and hold down the "Control key" while pressing down on the "G", that is called grouping and it will group or weld the objects together and you can then work with it as 1 object. I believe that is the correct procedure as best as my old mind remembers. Hope that helps. Bob
  6. Thanks Ike.
  7. Ike, could you post a link to the "shop vac air corrector", I can't find it. Of course I am not sure what I am looking for. TIA
  8. How about the set screw on the other side of the clamp? Does it protrude into the blade slot a little?
  9. UPS learned how to destroy packages from the Post Office, but the Post Office is still the best at destroying packages.
  10. Never heard of the EX-19, just the 16 & 21. Love my EX-21.
  11. Seyco is about the best company to do business with, unfortunately they cannot seem to get the EX saws in as fast as they can sell them. I had to wait a short while to get mine but so glad I did. I would do business with them again anytime.
  12. I was going to suggest that new ball/socket tubing could be bought, but I like this suggestion better.
  13. I have been told that wallyworld carries it. I intend to buy some when ever I run out of the 3M #77 I have been using.
  14. I have not personally used it, but have read good reviews about it on some router sign making forums. If it works good with a router it should work good with a scroll saw.
  15. I don't use tape either. I mounted a piece of PVC trim across the top & bottom of the fan with zip ties and just slide the filter in/out.
  16. I have 2 box fans with filters on the input side, works great.
  17. Thanks I am going to save this one for future use.
  18. If you want a small router get a Dewalt 611. I don't like Dremel, they don't hold up & if you want yo use router bits you would be better off with a real router. By the time you get a nice Dremel and a router base for it you could have biught a Dewalt 600 and be better off.
  19. I have heard that no pictures, did not happen?
  20. Planner is not the answer.
  21. Inexpensive & ingenious.
  22. Turns silver gray
  23. I have both & probably use the bench mounted the most, not in love with either. If you are a crabby old fart, welcome to my club.
  24. I use the 1Hp "green" dust collector from Harbor Freight for DC on my scroll saw. It is quiet and can run all day. Uses a induction motor, apply a 20% off coupon and the price is a bargain. I own 2 of them. http://www.harborfreight.com/13-gallon-industrial-portable-dust-collector-31810.html Love mine.
