  1. Welcome aboard from Louisiana.
  2. I tried again with the poplar only using a slower feed rate and came out good, I am only running my drill press @ 540 rpms. Maybe I should also try a faster rpm.
  3. Great saw, love mine!
  4. What kind of wood are most of you using for the oven pulls? I just made one with 1/2" poplar and I get too much break out when the drill bit comes through and that causes problems on the small cut outs. Thinking about trying some 3/4" red oak, maybe some good quality pine, the ones I want to make for wife and DIL's I will want something that looks real nice.
  5. Cool project especially since incandescent bulbs will soon be history. Do you have a pattern for that project that you can share.
  6. Anyone use a Oneida Air Super Dust Deputy cyclone with their DC. My experiment with making a Thein seperator to use with my HF DC does not work very well so thinking about trying the Oneida Air Super Dust Deputy cyclone, it would save a lot of time. Does 4" flex hose fit directly onto the Oneida Air Super Dust Deputy cyclone?
  7. If that first one was a fifth wheel trailer I would definitely cut that one to put in our fifth wheeler.
  8. I especially like the snowman and the sleigh with the deer, all nice thou.
  9. Welcome aboard and Merry Christmas!!
  10. Well my new EX-21 arrived today and I set it up and I love it. Great saw from Seyco. Now to start scrolling tomorrow, don't have the time today but look out tomorrow. I am a happy camper.
  11. There is a foot switch to turn the saw on / off, and Harbor Freight has the best price $14.99.
  12. May seem like a stupid question, but I am new to this so go easy on me. What is Fret work?? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks, Bob
  13. Yes mine is the Dremel Moto Shop #571-5 and uses the 3" pin end blades. Seems like a decent saw, but then I have never used anything else so what do I know?
  14. Thinking about a Excalibur EX21 but have no idea what kind of blades to order. For now I am interested primarily in cutting 1/8" to 1/4" plywood till I get the hang of it. What kind of blades would you recommend for my use. My only experience is with a Dremel Moto Shop that use 3" pin end blades and they only come in regular bades with different "tpi". I read about skip tooth, spiral and all kinds of blades and am totally lost as what to order. Sure wish someone sold a assortment of blades 3 or 4 each type to try and decide what to order.
  15. Thanks Clayton, got it done.
  16. Just found and joined this forum, having recently retired I have the bug to do some scroll sawing. I have a workshop setup that I have not used in 20 years, I have a Dremel Moto Shop that I will start out on & if I decide to stay with it I want to get a Dewalt 788. I do have a question, I tried to create a signature and got a message of "not authorized to create signature" or something to that effect, what gives?
