Wilson's Woodworking Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 I am making a rooster napkin holder for my eldest daughter. The woods are Walnut, Wenge, Box elder and Yellow Heart. They still need finish sander and ready to mount on the holder. bobscroll, Doug and Birchbark 3 Quote

don in brooklin on Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Well done. Like your choice of using Box Elder. I have this on my to-do list and been looking for some lacewood but I like this better. Thanks for posting. Don Quote
Gabry Sawyer Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Very very nice ... what measure each rooster ? Quote
Wilson's Woodworking Posted January 23, 2014 Author Report Posted January 23, 2014 Thank You for all the compliments. The Rosters are about 4†tall and 6†wide. This seems like pretty little pieces to me. I am use to working on much bigger projects but it has been fun. Hopefully I will get time to finish them up in the next week or so and be able to post a finished picture. Right now I am waiting on the sanding mop that I have on order to get here so I can finish sand them and move on with the project. Next up is a sea turtle out of the same book. With a bowl and maybe a fretwork thrown in for good measure. Quote
