Hi all,

I thought I would post my latest attempt at a portrait. I know it's not a patch on some of the amazing work that is done by other members on here but I'm feeling quite proud that I have completed this project from start to finish I.e. Taking photograph, editing and cutting. Still haven't made my mind up about framing yet. One more grandchild to do then I have the set!

Regards to all

It's been a long time coming but I finally got around to finishing the portraits of my grandkids. Decided to use shop bought frames in the end. Thanks for all the advice

They are All Very Impressive for the eyes.  Great cutting and I like them frames.  Keepsake for sure.  Makes me want to do this for ALL my Grand-Great Grand Childern.  Maybe....   Danny  :+}

Thanks guys. Rusty, My first attempt was the one of my granddaughter the pattern was created by a fellow scroller, the other 2 I did from start to finish. As hardwood is difficult to get hold of in the UK (and expensive) I used 1/4 inch MDF which I then veneered with American oak.

I wanted to spray paint the silver surround on the frame black to give them a bit more contrast but my other half didn't agree. And I know what's good for me!!
