dansnow Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) Had a friend of my wife order this for her sister for Easter. It's 15" high, by 10" across. About 5 hours invested in it so far, the cross is 1/2" maple, will sit on a 1/4" walnut backer. She cut the timing a little close, but it should be ready to ship by the end of the week. dansnow Posted April 10, 2014 Author Report Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the kind words folks. Here's the cross with cutting complete, a little over 8 hours, Some cleanup, then cut out the walnut backer assembly and finishing. Edited April 10, 2014 by dansnow Quote
Dan Page Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 If I may ask where did you find the pattern at. I love scrolling religious pieces. Thanks Quote
dansnow Posted April 11, 2014 Author Report Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) Got the pattern from here. It's $8.95. Word of caution, unless you want to pay an extra $5 above regular shipping, it can take 10-14 days to get your order. As far as I can tell they do not offer downloadable plans. amazingkevin Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Flawless! Makes you proud to be a scroller and turn plain old wood into a masterpiece. Quote
dansnow Posted April 12, 2014 Author Report Posted April 12, 2014 Here it is. Only the final top coat of lacquer needs to be applied. It will cure over the weekend and ship out to the customer on Monday. Quote
