Good morning everyone, from a cold, wet, and windy Scotland, at least it is where I am.  Coffee's ready and plenty WATER for the tea. No oatcakes today but there's a whole load of cup cakes to be scoffed.

Please, as I'm fed up looking at the things, so help yourself. Take some for your pets and kids as well, if you wish.

Thought I would take a wander to the shop this morning and give the saw a try, as well as myself. Switched on.........NOTHING, dead as a Dodo. Gingerly poked about and traced the problem to the start capacitor which was  fried, probably due to dampness after the hole in the roof nonsense. Managed to hunt one down so I'll pick it up on Monday and hopefully all will be well

I must admit I feel a lot better than I have been of late, but I'll approach things slowly for the time being, and see how things go. Feeling as if I've done something at last. :D  :D  :D

Hope you all have a great day.

Rob Roy.

Thanks FOR THE HOT WATER.Think I'LL  MAKE LEMON water. I took things slow for 2.5 months waiting for the 3 degree groin injury to heal. Last night I said enoughs enough and braved stretching my leg sideways. That's what hurts the most.Seems to have done some good.a Little more later today.Just tired of walking around like a 102 year old man bent over.

HAAHAA Roy lovely day here cut the grass trimmed the hedges and now I'll have a tea and a cup cake if there's any left.  Roly

Goodness gracious Roly, nearly had an ANGINA attack after reading that. Hope you didn't get sun burned   .

You can have as many cup cakes as you like. Half the neighbours have been eating them and there's still a bang load of them left. I might just go down to the local Five a Side pitch and get rid of the rest of them. I hope. I thought Keith might have attacked some for me.

Thanks for the coffee I'm having some now and enjoying it. It looks a bit chilly out side and hope the sun will make an appearance today. In a little bit I will go down to the shop and finish cutting out a box I'm working on and later Sis and I are going to Port Angeles to pick up prescriptions and then go to her house to try to stand her armoire up like it is supposed to be. It took her and I 3 days to get it in the house in the first place. So we are going to take the doors off and the back off and then we should be able to stand it up and put the doors and every thing back on. Then we'll put her tv in it with out having to unplug any of the cords to the tv as it is hooked up to a lot of cords to surround sound system and the like. Once those cords are unhooked we won't be able to figure out where they go so we'll put it in before we put the back back on. So it'll be a job to do today. So I want to get the box cut out and sanded and then a finish put on so it will dry while we are gone. Take care,, Fay

Good morning Roy

Thanks for the coffee. Glad to hear you're gradually improving. Received 10" of snow last evening and it's still snowing. Looks like I've got a bit of shovelling to do after coffee. Have a great day all.

My blood pressure is higher than it should be and tomorrow I'm just going to rest a good spell before doing any thing. I think I moved too quick as I was so sure I was going to fall flat on my face. So off to bed I go I did spring for KFC chicken for us 3 old bags and we are eating it now. It is so good and we haven't had that for a long , long time too. MMMMMMM  chicken!  Every one have a great evening   Fay

Hello Roly, replaced the dud start capacitor today. Took a wee bit longer as I lost the two self tappers???. However I got two in the spares box. It's now running like a Rolls Royce hmmmm, more like a LADA     . Feeling a little bit better by the day, mind you, I got dog's abuse for cleaning the windows. Should've expected that I suppose    . Hope you had a good day.
