Wilson's Woodworking Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Here is the sea turtle I have been working on in my (not so) free time. I started it in February and it is just now getting the first coat of finish before making the backer board and gluing it together. I hope to get it finished before I close on the new house and have to pack up my shop and move. bobscroll, Rob Roy, Birchbark and 4 others 7 Quote

Wilson's Woodworking Posted October 9, 2014 Author Report Posted October 9, 2014 Thank You for all the compliments on this one. My Mother and Father In-law came from Indiana and spent two weeks helping us move into the new house. I gave them this turtle for a thank you after all the help they gave us. I really enjoyed making it and they are really enjoying it hanging in there house. For now life is just too busy for me to spend much time at the saw but I have a few projects that I am working on when I can find time. Right now none of the projects are intarsia but I want to get back to it in the future. It is so relaxing doing all the fitting and shaping to complete one of these projects. Quote
