  1. One of my nephews has been working so hard to become a Doctor and has finally made it. He will be moving up to St. Joseph Michigan on mid June. He wanted to spend some time with his uncle and learn to scroll. Here are his firsts
  2. I vape and I was at the shop talking to the owner. He asked how my recovery was going and we talked about what I was doing while off work. Long story short! He asked if I could do one of his logos and I said YEP, EASY. I can have it tomorrow. He said when I bring it in, find something in the store for trade. We will continue to adorn his shop. Here it is!
  3. Thank you all! I have been working on a few things, some are almost finished (stain needed). Here is one I got a request for today and finished today. This project will lead to more for this guy. It is a bartering system we set up. I vape and I will be getting things for trade.
  4. Went to the Dr. today, he said everything was looking good and to come out of the sling. Now for Strength Therapy. nothing over two pounds and no overhead work. A scroll saw isn't over my head!!! hahahaha
  5. No I will not send him!! But, My wife and I would gladly come. Hahahaha!!!
  6. I just cleaned it. You usualy can't see any flat surfaces.
  7. Here is where I do all my work. Mostly in the warmer months and when I have time after work and nothing else to do around the house. The photos are just shot around the garage. I don't have a lot of tools that I use for scrolling, most of everything else is just that I have collected through the years of marriage, side work and owning a home. Hope this isn't too many pics...lol
  8. That is Absolutely Stunning. I love the detail and I also love to cut detail - BUT - Not lettering. Props to your patience and Amazing skills!!!
  9. It is called Overwatch, I guess it's from an online game.
  10. Started and finished. Cut another one with it but waiting on grandson to come home from school to paint it.
  11. I hope I don't go that long.
  12. Y E S. IT DOES
  13. 2 more projects, the blue and yellow one is a joint project with my oldest son. I cut it and he painted and assemble it. The other is the ATI Physical Therapy logo for the people who have work me to the point of pain (good pain that is)

  15. Totally Complete! Thank You Bob!
  16. This is what I came up with.
  17. Marg, All of them except for Michigan and California were cut from the same piece of Poplar.i had a board that was about 8ft long. plaques are 2.5" x 10.5"
  18. I tried, not as good as bob
  19. Here is everything i asked of Bob, now just to spray them when the stain dries. Coming up with ideas to hang them is becoming a problem...so many ideas. I have to consult with the wife. I may have to bother Bob again for a header pattern. The duplicates (Tennessee and Michigan) are for my niece and nephew. The California is for my son.
  20. Here is a re-cut of Tennessee, my wife didn't like the darker version. Michigan and California over the next couple of days, weather permitting, kinda chilly here in Beech Grove, Indiana.
  21. Lol... We don't travel a lot, these aren't that big (10.5" x 2.5" ) either. She wants to go to Jamaica and Hawaii. Most of the time we go on vacation is to Panama City Beach, Florida. We have a good spot on the wall for these also. If it gets too big, I can place them in strategic spots throughout the room.

  23. Thank you all for the nice comments !! I have to laugh so I don't get mad, but my wife does not like the Tennessee plaque. She doesn't like how dark it is. Ihave to re cut it...lol. I chose that wood because it looked smoky. I used the wood to try to make it scenic, and most of them are beach themed. I tried to place the dark grains to resemble water.
  24. Places we have vacationed. THANK YOU BOBSCROLL!!! Surgery recovery therapy...lol
