  3. I have been making names like these for about 11 years and I have made hundreds now, they are my number one best seller. I always try to make them from Aussie woods. Theses are made from Spalted Black Heart Sassafras, regular Black Heart Sassafras and I think Tasmanian Black Wood. There are another 7 that I forgot to take photos of. Marg II don't particularly like the way Evie turned out and I offered to make an extra one for them but they said no, they loved it, so who am I to argue.
  4. Absolutely beautiful. It certainly is a keeper. Marg
  5. Maybe with a lighter colored background everything would pop, the wood is too dark on the black. But having said that it is a excellent cutting and you did well to obtain a copy of the photo. Marg
  6. Your friend will love it. Marg

  23. If you click on the link that Paul put on about a quarter of the way down is a map, on the left side in bright yellow you will see an island in the middle of the bay, it's called French Island the on way on to it is be ferry, well on Saturday they had a bush fire an it burned over 150 hectares. There are over 3000 koalas on that island used for breeding because they have no diseases, luckily only a few were lost. If you get your magnifying glasses out you will notice that on the main land the island is off Hastings where I live, there were LOTS of water bombers going over and very low too. Marg

There were also huge fires in Queensland and South Australia. Marg
