Frank no this is a pattern out of one of the back issues of one of my magazines. I have been putting off cutting it but could not sleep the other night so I finished it.

Actually I used yellow pine and the backer is just 3mm ply. I put the backer on it to give some of the letters and the other elements of the cutting some added strength and support.

Here are some of the latest that I have made....
Gone Fishin - pattern by Steve Good
Faith - pattern out of a back issue of one of my magazines
Five compound cut ornaments from Issue 49 Holiday 2012 issue of SSW&C
Rudolph - I have 24 more to cut

Excellent job on those. Working with a handsaw is a skill that is fading and I personally am glad to see folks still using it. Thanks for sharing your skill with us.

I am finally getting in to the Christmas Spirit! Cut from 3/8 pine. The pattern was adapted from a public domain clip art. There are 5 - 1/8 in rare earth magnets in the back. Paints are acrylic and finished with lacquer. The magnet is 3 1/2 inches tall.

You do not have to scroll anything in there. You could cut a piece of plexiglass to fit that rectangle and put a photograph behind it and use it as a picture frame.
I like it by the way. Thanks for sharing it with us.
