  5. Ben the plexiglass is held by 6 small brass screws on each side. DW
  6. A few years back I found a pattern for a raindeer I liked and the book of patterns that it was in contained a couple of these strange but neat animals. Â Cut from pine about 3 1/2 inches tall glued to a white cedar slice. Â Finished with shellac. DW
  7. It is finished. I decided that it looked better unpainted. The finish is shellac. DW

  24. A few years ago this pattern was in SSW&C it is now available for free on their site. This was a piece of scrap 1 in Mahogany that I had. Finished with beeswax paste. Planter birds from one of my magazines - slightly modified Cedar, Plywood and Pine are what the birds are made from. Nothing sets a playful tone to a table full of things like these Moose. Cut from American Black Walnut and Poplar finished with tung oil and lacquer. Sitting squirrel .. pattern by Steve Good. Cedar square tissue box cover. Finished with lacquer. DW
