  19. Jim they were cut from wood that was less than 4 inches wide so they are about 4 inches x 1 1/2 inches deep at the mouth. DW

  23. These are the shells that I have recently made. All of them have been finished with beeswax paste. This one was cut from a 2x4 This one was cut from white cedar This one was cut from a pine glueup This is a picture of all of the shells to date. Notice that none of them are exactly the same. Some are going to be planters, some will be potpourri holders. DW
