  3. The wood is 3/4 in thick I used a 1 3/8 inch fostner bit and bored a hole 3/8 inches in. This gives room for the clock insert to reside. DW

  6. Cut from the scrap of a bamboo cutting board. This dove cross window hanger was finished with semi gloss lacquer. DW

There is a way to save the bowl.. you will have to sand deep divots on both ends and round them so that they merge with the other edges... you might even want to do 4 of them and give the bowl a unique scallop edge. I have done this a time or two to recover a "broken" bowl. As long as you do not tell anyone that you were attempting to make designer firewood they will not know. Use your artistic talents. Other than that it looks good. Keep the faith. DW

  12. I really do not have any serious issues with spirals other then the fact that you are totally responsible for the direction it cuts. I do not know if you straighten out the ends 1st or not but I do and make them so that both ends are in the same plane .. that way I do not have to tighten any harder than I would a normal flat blade. It seems to work for me on my 788. DW

  14. Steve Good has out done himself on this pattern. Cut from Hard Maple, Quartersawn White Oak and Bamboo, finished with Semigloss Lacquer. DW

  18. Adapted this puzzle from one that was in one of my books. The original puzzle had 3 pieces I added a few more Cut from 1 inch American Black Walunt. Sealed with Tung Oil and then Top Coated with semi gloss Lacquer. DW
