Made from 1 1/2 in thick aromatic cedar, this box is 4 1/2 inches long x 3 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches deep. It was sealed with Tung Oil then top coated with semi gloss lacquer then flocked with kelly green flocking.

Ever burned your fingers getting the toast or an English muffin out of the toaster? I have many times so I constructed these from a piece of thin bamboo scrap that I had left over from cutting up one of the cutting boards i purchased for a bowl I made.
The tongs are 3/8 in wide by 10 in long.

Created this 4 inch in diameter 1 1/2 in tall bowl from oak and black walnut scraps. Sealed with Tung Oil and Top Coated with lacquer. Perfect size for a ring bowl near the sink.

Looks good Kevin. Thing about metal is heat will kill your blade fast as anything. Practice a lot to get a better feel for what speed and blade that you need for each type of metal,

Very Very nice work on that ... I like the wood choices. I have made several of those and always get the comment on how difficult it must have been to bend those ribbons . Steve makes some great patterns and you have done a great job on that one. Thanks for sharing it with us.
