I just finished turning a pen, I had it pointing at the monitor, then towards me, then to the left, and then to the right,
theres one in every crowd and you wonder why we are always keeping an eye on you.
I use the spray glue, I spray it onto the pattrn then apply the pattern directly to the wood. I use a quick spray of mineral spirist to break the bond once it is cut. and again to clean any residue off if needed. been doing it this way for years with no problems.
I keep a little can of different colored sawdust to hide holes in inlays, and do like Paul and Dan on the fretwork with the tear drop shape to hide the hole.
