  4. Congratulations! You posted with the response from Axminster while I was researching sources for you. These are supposed to be companies that may have the pin you need in case you are interested. https://www.partstown.com/ https://us.misumi-ec.com/ https://www.amazon.co.uk/roll-pins/s?k=roll+pins I wasn't sure if you really need a Dowel Pin or a Roll pin/Roller pin. God Bless! Spirithorse
  5. Thanks, @heppnerguy I was looking for some Native American related objects to possibly wood-burn into the frame. Still undecided and itching to get on to a different project! LOL God Bless! Spirithorse
  6. Well done, Frank! I did not realize how many layers there were in this version when I looked at your other post with the poll. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  7. Hi, Frank, I definitely prefer the fretwork version over the layered version. Naturally, I suppose a lot of my reasoning is because of the different skill levels required between the two projects. Both are well done and well represented. God Bless! Spirithorse
  8. Very nice @scrollerpete and thanks again to @don in brooklin on for helping with so many requests. God Bless! Spirithorse

  11. Thanks for the suggestion I actually ran that through my mind for a while but, wasn't sure what size or how much detail to start looking for a pattern for that. God Bless! Spirithorse
  12. Thanks for all the kind comments. I think I'll just leave it as is and try some kind of frame to embellish it a bit. God Bless! Spirithorse
  13. Sorry to hear you are in so much pain and I hope it gets much better very quickly. Praying for a complete recovery. Everyone is different and everyone heals differently so, I hope you don't get discouraged. God Bless! Spirithorse
  14. Just off the saw, a Native American with a Buffalo Skull, pattern by Charles Dearing. I modified it because there was a structure in one portion that, to me, did not represent anything except to take up dead space in the pattern. This is approximately 15" x 14" and, since I use strictly flat blades and do not have a saw with an upper arm that lifts, and therefore bottom feed, this took me over 6 1/2 hours to cut. I m don't know if I am going to leave it as is or add something to take up some of the dead space around the Native American. Suggestions welcome. God Bless! Spirithorse
  15. Nicely done, Frank! I think that frame really goes well with the project also. God Bless! Spirithorse

  23. Welcome to the village, Jay! Looking forward to seeing some of your projects. I would suggest you take photos of all your projects for your own scrap book and look back occasionally at your previous projects and see how well and how quickly you progress!. If you don't mind my asking, what part of Ohio are you from? Some of the members here that I recall from Ohio include Clayton (who already replied), Dan from near Cincinnati, and Birchbark (Russell). This is a fine group of people so enjoy yourself and ask for any help. You can also send us your tips and suggestions along the way. God Bless! Spirithorse
