  3. Welcome to the forum, Roger! Looking forward to seeing some of your projects. Do you mind saying what general area of the Buckeye state you are from? No big deal if you are the private type like myself. God Bless! Spirithorse

  7. Welcome to the forum! I hope you find the saw that meets all your needs and I hope it serves you well. I do not like the blade clamps on any of the saws I have looked at in the past year or so and probably won't be buying a new saw until mine completely gives out or some company actually makes a simple, worth-while adjustment to their clamping system and keeps the saw at a reasonable price. 10. Not worth what would be considered bragging rights but, here is a 5" x 7" frame I made for my grandson. He is only 8 years old and got a 6 point buck on his first deer hunt! God Bless! Spirithorse

  12. Congratulations on 57 years and I really love the caricature! Well cut! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  13. Very pretty jewelry box! If you make a drop in compartment like you mentioned, would you have to put some sort of supports somewhere in the box to elevate the compartment? Maybe I can learn something here! LOL Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  14. Nice work, Branda! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse

  18. Well done, Les! Just for other alternatives, I read somewhere years ago that the old type of dryer sheets that are supposed to take static out of clothes in a clothes dryer makes the scroll saw table slicker. I have used it occasionally and it does work. My 18" Craftsman already has some form of teflon already on it and doesn't need much but, I still like to hear of other people's ideas. God Bless! Spirithorse
  19. Well done! Sorry for your loss even though time has passed. My mother died at only 49 years old, one sister died at only 39 years old, and my father passed at 79 years old 8 years ago. I know there are still times that we wish for just one more phone call or one more day. You have made an item to be treasured. God Bless! Spirithorse

  24. Cool! The grain in the wood must have made it appear to me that there was a layer there. Thanks for the reply and God Bless! Spirithorse
