    Old Car

Dan, that's a sharp looking little car, do you think it's sturdy enough for kids to play with? Or, would this be more for being put on display? Len
  9. Nicely done. Len
  10. Two great looking cuttings Dan, but, I do think the frame you used for the Samurai one is just a bit to small. Len
  11. Way to go Jim, lots of people use their Dremel type tools with the plunge router set-up for scroll work. Len
  12. Kevin, if it's good teak, there should be a market out there for it. There's lots of people who would love to get this wood, it's valuable. Len
  13. Thanks for the link Dan/Larry, I may have to give this a try. Len
  14. Nicely done, that should come in handy. Len
  15. Nice going Monti, what do you use to soften the edges on the puzzle? I use mini detail files, they give me a nice smooth edge. It's to bad you had trouble with the bowl, it looks nice I can imagine the problems you had trying to glue it back together. Thanks for sharing it with us. Len
  16. Nice combination Steve, it looks great. Len
  17. Jim, I scroll in my basement workshop, it is a room that is 12'x14' but it doesn't have a door on it. As far as the dust goes, we've not noticed that it makes a difference in our home. The only cutting I do in my basement, is scroll saw cutting. I do use a random orbital sander a fair amount, when using it I have a dust collector to use. I just don't use the dust collector when scrolling, I find it makes to much noise. I do use a box fan with a furnace filter attached to it to collect dust, plus I wear a Trend air shield to protect my lungs. But, as I stated, dust is not a problem in our house. There is an air ventilation system that is always operating, that may be what helps with the dust, but I doubt it. The filter is never dirty, I check it twice a year. Len
  18. Geez Larry, you went back a long ways to bring this subject back to the forefront. I read it all thinking it was an up to date conversation, to my dismay, it wasn't. Are there no newer topics that interested you, rather than rehashing 17 month old subject. Not complaining, just asking. Len
  19. Monti, how large is this item, what size is it in inches or cm? Need to know that, before placing a what it is name on it. After all, size does matter. Len
  20. Jay, those are very nice looking ornaments, I downsize the ones I cut about the same amount as you do. I find that if I cut them the size they're presented, makes them to large for the tree. Len
  21. Nicely done. Len
  22. Cute necklace Marg, with the metal being so thin, it must be easy to bend. Len
  23. Dick, thanks for posting this, it was interesting to watch. Len
  24. Nicely done Dick, there looks to be a couple of hold your breath moments. It should look amazing when finished. Len
  25. Wow super nice cutting Kris, my neighbor would love to own this. He owns a Mach1, he ought it new in the seventies. Len
