  1. Thanks Charlie, that's very generous of you. Len
  2. Wow Chris, there sure was a lot of cutting in this one, it could be very trying on your patience. About how many hours do you have in this piece, pattern making and then cutting it out? It is most definitely, a cutting to be proud of. Len
  3. And Granddad's can usually send them home, if they want a break. But, not always, sometimes, the Grandparents are fortunate to have their grandchildren live with them. Like in your situation John, just think of how well they will remember you in the future. Unfortunately, I was not fortunate enough to have any grandkids of my own, but, I sure spoiled and got my brother's grandkids wound up, before I sent them home. Len
  4. Charlie, this is another very nice cutting, you come up with some of the nicest portrait patterns. The cuttings made off of them, like this one, looks so much like the actual person, it's amazing. I am most definately a fan, and am sorry to not have seen your work before now. Do you have a site that, you sell your patterns off of? Len
  5. Geez John, from looking at your pic, I'd guess that your Dad must be near a hundred years or more old. Am I close, or, do you just look old for your age? Len
  6. Paul, when I first saw this piece, I thought that it was a paper copy of Wile-E-Coyote glued onto a piece of wood. And to then read that you painted it with your airbrush, almost blew me away. For it to have turned out to look so perfect, I don't think that you need to worry, about getting practice with using it. Len
  7. Wow, it's an amazing capture of Johnny, I like this best of any Johnny Cash patterns that I've seen over the years. I would love to get a copy of the pattern, do you know if Charlie is selling any copies of it? Len
  8. Kris, that is an amazing cutting, I would love to be able to make my own patterns Len
  9. Nicely done Frank, I know a few musicians that I could make these for, I must look up the pattern. Len
  10. Well done Eric, it's one of the most handsome skeletons, that I ever seen. Len
  11. Jim, I love your ornaments, and there's not a thing wrong with working on your deck. As long as you enjoy yourself, what difference does it make? I have done some cutting out on my deck, but, not a lot because, I have to avoid being out in the sun. Len
  12. That's awesome, each of them did a fantastic job, how much practice did they have with the saw beforehand? That's how I got started in woodworking over sixty years ago, I worked with Grand dad over fifty years ago. He used to build cedar strip canoes, and he needed someone short to work on the underneath the canoes. They were up on sawhorses, and me only being 12 at the time was just the right height Len
  13. Very nice cutting, you got it finished, at just the right time of year. Len
  14. Wow, that's a fantastic cutting, I really like it. Len
  15. That's an awfully nice cutting, it's just to sad that you got your nice new saw so dusty. Len
  16. Norm, I agree with Dave, you did an awesome job cutting this one out, per your normal work. Len

Beautiful cutting Jim, I can just imagine how tedious it would have been to cut. Len
  18. I love it! Len
  19. Nicely done, it looks to be a delicate cutting, how large is it? Len
  20. Barb, those are cute Bulls, the mistake doesn't look all that bad. And if you hadn't mentioned that there was one, I doubt that anyone would have noticed it. Besides, who doesn't have an upside down world every so often? Len
  21. Eric, that is a very nice cutting of the Duke. Len
  22. Nicely done Barb, you should have no issues with, selling each of them. Len
  23. John, it is always a pleasure to view any of your work, it is always so masterly finished. Len
  24. Don, OMG, is the only response that I can think of of hand, what an amazing cutting! Len
  25. Charlie, that's some top shelf cutting, you did a fantastic job on this piece. I listened to a lot of Queens music over the years, but there was only one David Bowie song that I cared for. Len
