  1. Well Pete, for what you used for a blade, I think you did an excellent job. Len
  2. Roly, it's good to have a slack week every so often, it helps you enjoy your cutting time just that much more. Plus, it wasn't a completely wasted week, you've got something to show for it. Len

    Oak Cross

You're right Dan, it is a beautiful cross. Both you and Russell have one have done perfect jobs, on the cutting and pattern. Len
  11. Dave, you did a masterful job of cutting and assembling this item. As for the backing, personally, I don't like being able to see through cuttings like this one. Otherwise, the background colors won't match the wood colors, and that takes away from the image. If you don't think it needs a backer, did you check to see what it looked like up against the wall without a backer? That is what I'd suggest you do next time, then there will be no doubt if one is needed or not. To sell something like this, I would charge $35.00 at the market. But, if it's a friend that wants to purchase it, then I will work on my price a bit. Len
  12. Nicely done Don, I have the patterns for these, just haven't cut then out yet. Len
  13. Nice puzzle Jerry, it looks as if it would be difficult enough to assemble. Len
  14. Nicely done Ralph, where could I find a pattern for something like this? Len
  15. Cute sayings John, you did a great job. Len

  18. Cute birdhouses Bob, are you going to paint the frog? Len
  19. Congrats on the new saw purchase Dave, hope you enjoy owning it. Len
  20. Berry, if your stand doesn't have adjustable legs, you could place a 2x2 under the rear of your saw. You will have to drill a couple of holes for the bolts to go through, then just bolt the saw down through the 2x2. Doing this will elevate your saw about 1.5", but you can add more to it to raise it to the height that you want. Len

  25. Wow Larry, what an impressive bit of cutting. The branches look nice, and do a great job of separating each cutting. How did you apply the branches, were they burnt on? Len
