  1. The box is gorgeous, it sure makes the pencils look high class. Len
  2. I use the FD-UR #3 quite often, and I've never experienced any issues using them. Len
  3. IMO #2 looks much better. Len
  4. Berta, it's a fantastic looking cutting of a giraffe. You should learn to use both types of blades, you'll be a better scroller if you can. I can't use a spiral blade, but, as soon as I'm able to saw again I'll be learning how. Len
  5. Very nice. Len
  6. Nicely done Don, the cherry wood really looks amazing. Len
  7. It looks nice Ed, what was the issue with the dragon? Len
  8. Dave, it is an outstanding cutting, I'm sure your daughter will appreciate you for making it for her. Len
  9. Nicely done Kris. Len
  10. Kevin, nobody knows better then you, what you've got to lose if you get sick. Get to the hospital, and gets things checked out before things get any worse. Len
  11. Nice looking ornaments Marg, how long have you been collecting ornaments on these swaps? Len
  12. Bobby, Merry Christmas to you and yours also. Len
  13. Merry Christmas to you and yours Jerry, may 2017 be a very prosperous year for you. Len
  14. What I don't like about the new Jet saw, is the bottom blade holder. Len
  15. Dave, that's sickening news to me, I pay almost that much for a piece that is 12"x24". Of course I have to buy it at Michael's, there's no where else to buy it. I could buy it on the net, but by the time I pay duty and taxes it's no cheaper then Michael's. Len
  16. Good looking puzzle Jim, I think it needs an eye though. It looks good as is, but, if there was an eye where there should be, it would look a lot better. Len
  17. Nicely done Kevin. Len
  18. Nicely done Merlin, that's bound to become an heirloom. Len
  19. Don, that does seem to be awfully cheap, for 3/4"BB ply. I would want to see it before I put any money out, it could be seconds. Len
  20. Jim, it's beautiful, it may be the nicest box yet. Your inlay work is amazing, thanks for sharing this one with us. Len
  21. Tom, it's gorgeous, I like it a lot. This is the one you showed us the other day, the one I had to think about. Well you did it, you didn't let us down. Len
  22. Nicely done Peter, they will make nice gifts. Len
  23. Brady, those are gorgeous gifts, the recipients should be pleased with them. Len
  24. Delvaughn, you and Russell should team up more often. This is an outstanding piece, it looks just like the picture. Len
  25. For me, it all depends on what the puzzle will be used for. If it is just going to be used as a decoration, then fine, I will use pine, poplar, or any other kind of wood. If the puzzle is to be used by a small kid, then I use baltic birch. I use the BB because it's so durable, it hardly ever breaks, not even the tabs. No matter what type of wood you use, there's always a chance of it breaking especially where the wood is thin in areas. I always sand the BB before I glue the pattern on, and when I'm done cutting the puzzle out, I remove the pattern paper with after-wash. It's the same as paint thinner, and it removes every bit of glue residue. After all of the glue residue is removed, then I can use whatever I want for a finish. Len
