  5. Hello, I have always been a fan of the Flying Dutchman blade. But I saw the shark tooth blades offered on the Windfield Collection site. Years ago I started out with Olson blades cause all that’s I could find locally. Before I discovered the online sites. Have any of you used them ? Thanks

  10. Hello, it’s been a long time since I been on the Winfield collection site . I went on there today and noticed that the give you an option for pattern size. Which is nice for us scrollers. I did some of their old patterns that I had to use a jigsaw.
  11. This pop up in my YouTube feeds it is a couple of years old so chances are you might have already seen it. https://youtu.be/bhvvMcn7eYw

  13. Well it has been a couple of crazy years. Couple of years ago The wife and I bought a house and been busy doing thing and remodeling the house and trying to take care of 8.25 acres raised 3 hogs and butchered them. ( boy was that a interesting project ) so after a couple of years my wife wants to move from California to Springfield OH. So here we go again packing everything up including my scroll saw. I am really missing the hobby. My wife is missing the projects that I make. So when we get to OH and in another house with less property. Will see if my EX 21 still works. I been looking at Seyco new ST21. Sure looks a lot like a ex 21 LOL. Do any of you know if General makes that saw and where is it made? So come December 1 st I will be heading East and happy to see California in my rear view mirror.
  14. There are a few options like sparky said or with the wire or command stickers.

  18. Winfield collection
  19. Did you get that from the winfield collection?
  20. Yep I am a user of FD
  21. I looked on your profile to see where you live. I was going to Google search for hardwood suppliers and also cabinet maker companies they have some nice maple scraps. Good luck
  22. Well this was suppose to be just a puzzle. I made sure my blade was strait when I started.but when I finished some pieces only fit in from the back and some others, only fit from the front.some pieces go all the way through. So instead of putting it into the scrap pile I glues the base on this piece of oak and shellaced it with several coats. Some one might come along and adopt it or it might end up in the scrap pile.
  23. You did great it looks very nice. I found out a long time ago people really like the home made items. Cause it is made with care and love. There is no other one in the world like it. There are is a nice little accessory saw that you can buy that is not very expensive. And it will give you a true 45° angle. So if you are going to make more of these or portraits you might consider buying one. Good day
  24. I did a Google search. It looks a lot like a dremel saw. I personally could not deal withe the arm not going up and not being able to feed my blade through the top. But every one is different I hope you enjoy your new saw. Hopefully your friend gets hooked on it so you will have a partner in crime. Congratulations on your new saw.
