    Salsa

Picked the last tomatoes off my 2 plants…….made one last bowl of fresh salsa…..it’s the “mild” variety, but left a few jalapeño seeds in it for a little spice
  7. Put a sliding bathroom door in today…..a little outside my comfort zone…..but read the directions a few times, had to modify track for our situation….pretty happy with the results…..rolls quietly
  8. Prepping our new bathroom door this morning .....it's going to be a sliding door so no door knob key hole needed.....cut a piece of wood to fill in....use paper & pencil to trace over hole(shading) to get rough template.....cut it out on scroll saw (1/4" sanded ply)...I'm happy with it....now I can paint the door.....I use a Wagner Flexio 590 paint sprayer(it handles that thick paint with ease)......barn door hardware will be here later this week.....$53 door from HD
  9. Updated our bathroom with new walk-in shower….took out old tub/shower combo…also new flooring & paint
  10. Condolences to everyone involved
  11. Get better soon……I’ve been lucky dodging it so far……my daughter had it in the house July 2020 though

    Yum!

Smitty cooked again…..just a sheet pan meal…red potatoes (quartered), smoked sausage, kielbasa, red/yellow peppers, yellow onion, broccoli florets…..coated everything thing with olive oil & seasoning….400 degrees for hr(potatoes only 1st 30min.) What’s nice about these you can vary the veggies to your liking
  13. Dinner Tonight
  14. Yes I made the pattern…..
  15. 20”T x 15”W…FD #5 SR blade…..I’ve never used spirals
  16. Tried something new on the grill tonight…..sliced a couple baking potatoes lengthwise 3/8” thick to make the planks…..grilled 7 minutes ea side on medium high heat…..put on upper rack after that while rest of food cooked…..then put shredded cojack on top & let melt….once on plate I added a blob of sour cream & a little S&P….they were delicious, hardest part is cutting the planks evenly….you need a sharp knife
  17. Finished this one today, 1/2" sanded ply.....wedding gift....thanks for looking
  18. Cleaned clothes dryer vent duct pipe this morning….I have about 15ft of hard 4” duct pipe & 4ft of dryer flex pipe to go through floor to back of the dryer….cleaned hard line & replaced the flex pipe……I try to do this annually but it's been a couple yrs (shame on me).....no fire here though
