  1. First let me thank Dale for the great puzzimal patterns. I've made 3 so far the first was the alligator, Mailed to Oregon before I got a picture... Now the Beagle and the Bear. I used 3/4" pine and after his advice I used a fr#5 blade. I changed to a fdur#5 and had better luck with the grain of the wood when cutting with the grain in the pine. Less tendency to be taken off course. They need to be finished and I apologize for the glare from the flash. It's raining today so no outdoor pics. They were fun to cut and a nice change from ornaments for a while.. Thanks again Dale!
  2. The children will paint them in Sunday School then give them to others in the congregation. What the kids don't know is we made enough for them to get one back Christmas eve...Sorta a surprise. Chris thanks again..next time please sign the pattern I could not remember who made it for me..I had to go looking for my request...The least I could do is show you I actually cut them.
  3. I don't usually like to do orders that have a bunch of the same item. However when the wife's church asked I could not turn them down..Now could I? Thank you Chris for making the pattern for me. They absolutely loved it. So I did 50 to start with..They said If we want more can you do them?

  10. Great job. Where are you located? Do you mind my asking how much you get for some of your great looking kids items? Those are out of my realm my shop could never fit them inside now since I moved. I am very impressed with how quickly you seem to be cranking them out.
  11. Great job. I really like the eyes....
  12. Travis, Glad you took the humor as intended...he sounds smart for his age....He will still like the puzzle.
  13. I have to be a little more careful when cutting pine so that I get good adhesion and no curls or bumps. Then it seems to be okay.
  14. So I'm guessing he's not away at college? LOL Great job and he will like them for along time.

  21. Great tip. I'll have to give it a shot.
  22. Yep the blade is probably in upside down..You can sometimes tell by releasing pressure on your work piece ..the saw blade will lift the wood off the work surface causing it to chatter...
  23. After reading your post, I went out to the shop and just took a look around...I noticed I had several pieces of cutoff wood just sticking up out of a box...In front of the box are pads I stand on to relieve stress on my hips and back. If I were to trip over the pad I might very well have been impaled on these "spears". Thanks for the reminder, everything is now lying flat... Glad you made it by this one with a nick and not a slice or worse...
  24. Seems like you are getting the hang of this...Keep trying you'll get it down yet....Hey i was just kiddin no fair hittin...LOL-----------Nice work clean cuts.
  25. Those are all really fun..The carousel is for sure and ART piece...Thanks for sharing the link.
