  11. I was over H D today and they had a special on blue painters type 2" wide, buy one and get one free for $6.99 not bad as I use a lot. And I seen 2x2' hardwood 1/8" for $1.99, no I would like to know if anyone use this wood for portraits before I buy some. Thanks edward
  12. Home Depot has a good buy on hobby boards on oak and popular 5" x 1/2" x 24", and look pretty good, I bought about a dozen boards, and the price is very good. So if anyone lives near H D go check it out. edward
  13. I took six pieces over the Holidays to a consignment craft store, and only sold one piece in sixty days, so it really didn't pay for me to put items in the store, as I do craft shows in the areas, and I really don't like to jack my prices up. Maybe some people have luck, but I sure didn't. Just my opinion. edward

  20. Crafts shows today are hit and miss, after doing eight years of shows they are going down hill, not like it use to be. First of all the economy isn't as good, and there are a lot of WOB, [ people just walk on by] not even looking. There are to many people selling resale items, and not hand made, and thery are a lot of company people selling items which shouldn't be there which people running these shows don't care as long as they rent the space. N my area there aren't any jury show around, so we just put up with it. This is only my opinion. edward
  21. I have a lot of framed portraits, I get my frames at A C More, cost only $4, actually I only have so much room to display portraits, like Dan says some people like to use there own frames. Just thinking of something different, thats all. edward
  22. Was wondering if anyone ever sold unframed portraits at craft shows, I have quite a bit of 8x10 and what would be a good price for them. Not sure if I will or not just getting some ideas. All portraits have edwarda felt backing, and done on 1/8" BB
  23. I'am thinking on making outdoor welcome signs 3/4" pine, has anyone else used pine, just curious. edward
