  1. That's Jim. I was just talking to my wife about finding a few albums. There are 4 thrift stores within 10 minutes of home.
  2. Neat idea.
  3. Those are great Roly! If you make about 393,456 more you might be able to catch up with Kevin. Lol
  4. Love them. Especially the Canoe.
  5. Nice!
  6. That's big time John! Congrats!
  7. Well, you may be a newbie to The Village, but you've been scrolling for some time I bet. Great work!
  8. Great work! I love it when a plan comes together.
  9. I love the colors pal. I think you have made more names that you have number of posts. Lol
  10. The two names that come to mind are Carter Johnson and Shaun Ferguson. Both are members of SSW&C.

    Awesome Alex!
  14. I'm not sure what you mean by high quality but I bought some at Walmart to use as backing and it has been fine.
  15. Excellent on all accounts! Love the inlay.
  16. Wow! Fantastic work.
  17. Awesome!! I wish I could do that well.
  18. Looks great Dan!
  19. One thing I discovered with Spiral blades is that wood grain tends to deflect the blade. The thicker the wood the more you notice. If you use Baltic birch plywood to start you will get a better feel for the blade and build confidence. The pattern that Travis posted is a great pattern to start with. There are also patterns by Gary Browning that are easy and look good.
  20. Sad news indeed. I will pray for you.
  21. Fantastic work on Russ's pattern.
  22. Looks fantastic! I love the choice of wood.
  23. All of the shows I've done charged a few dollars for shoppers to enter. They also sell baked goods and have raffles. It seems to me that as long as there are a lot of shoppers and raffle ticket buyers, the sponsor, usually a local church or school for my shows, will make money. That part doesn't seem to matter about who pays taxes or not. I think when vendors are not there the following year it is more of a personal/business matter. I'm not getting what taxes have to do with whether a vendor is invited back to a show.
