I finally drove to Woodcraft to pick up some Pegas Modified Geometry blades. I tested them out on a couple of cuts on poplar. OMG! These are faster (more aggressive) than other blades. I am cutting a stand-up puzzle of 3/4" and it cuts very well. It's fast, just a little more patience is needed for control. It cuts very clean, both top and bottom. I don't know about the durability yet, but so far I love them. I was using a FD-UR5. The Pegas #3 Modified Geometry is just 0.01" thinner but it feels very nice and the kerf still works for these puzzles. For all who recommended them, A BIG THANK YOU!
