  4. SCROLLSAWWORKSHOP.COM PATTERN I DID TODAY IN 1HOUR AN 29 MINUTES. i USED A SCROLL REVERSE #5-#3 BLADES.easy CUTTING IN THE 3/4" wHITE PINE ,7 inch circle.but got to be careful of the hard grain that will put your blade in auto pilot mode and go where it wants.Wow the capitals go on and off by its self.Maybe i need to blow the laptop out with air.
  5. i've looked at Tung oil in the big box store and am not sure which I prefer,I think you have been using the amber one.that would be my choice instead of the clear.I've taken this project amongst a lot of other fish i did to bait and tackle shop here .Lots of fishing going on in this town of ft, lauerdale FL. But nobody was even slightly interested even the bass pro shop ,sports mans paradise. And I had all the fish available too.Bait and tackle shops turned their nose up.these were all stained antique cherry, and a few were key holders???Ahh! i guess i need shellac too i see.You did good on this one DW
  6. I've had several draftsman type ex large swinging magnifiers.I was not happy with the focal view they give.Very disrupting to my eyes to try and keep focused on the small window area that's magnified by them .I get real good glasses of the internet cheap .The latest being a 6.0 ,a 4.0 and for coins i would like to try the 10.0.I'm very pleased with them compared to the huge magnifiers..I wear 150 power for driving and 225 power for reading.
  7. Good one,i think i remember!
  8. Good job sir,I enlarged it to 300% to see the miniscule detailed lines, and your right about being a bugger, lol The finished project looks just great, right on the money perfect. I favor tug boats and mushroom shaped hydroplanes!

  13. Thanks ROB,white pine cut very easily and quietly compared to other woods, but the grain is tough and will throw your blade around. So you just have to cut slow and normal, so you can notice any definite changes in cutting speed which lets you know you into some of the grain.
  14. Very impressive display of your talent.Looks like you had all bases covered for all tastes.I favored the Jesus cross ,the book ends and the names!
