Super looking project,hope it did'nt go thru the planer!These multi wood project are fine as wine.What glues did you use. i'm looking for a slow setting glue hopefully water base for a project coming up.I've aquired lots of hard woods lately and in thin strips perfect for similar projects like this. i want to see what i can come up with differant.

  17. Pencil patterns ,oh how i remember the days.And then there was SSV,! Your artistic abilitys shine in the DOG GONE pattern.Lucky you,!My neighbor just got a deisel pick up and warms it up half an hour right out side my bedroom..Very disruptive 5:30 in the morning.So i well knoow the feeling.Keep up the great work and load us up with more of your works!

  19. If somethings worth doing it's worth doing twice,Maybe paint the second saw the same color as the saw your going to get rid of to disguise it!Blends in!!

Welcome Edmond ,Were just as happy as you are and would love to hear all you know about wood working I too love to sit and work and this is the perfect hobby for that.Angle your saw forward so you can have a birds eye view of were the saw blades cutting. A foot switch to turn the machine on and off is a plus.Great lighting is a plus too.i have two dewalts now and the third i gave to a friend interested in scrolling.Everything you'll ever want to know or learn or share will be the forum.You can go back many months in each forum to see whats been talked about too.I've had two type 1 dw788's and the lastest one is a type 2 .Let us know your findings on both machines.We love shop talk here and pictures really gets our attention.Welcome aboard ,make some friends and have a ball and thanks again for finding us !ENJOY !

Looks like that new used saw got Her done in record time.Straight shoot en all the way .This ones a crowd pleaser !that's got to be the pits not haveing a sliver of wood anywhere.,Might as well be out of saw blades too ,don't know which is worse,lol.i believe your going to turn into the wood magnet so this doesn't happen again.you made mince meat out of the pattern,good job!
