  1. Good boy Jim were on the same wave length ! lol :thumbs:Just a thought also .the blue washable a.c.fiters you cut to size try pouring flour on top of one and see what comes thru when you move it,Rubbish !!!i'm thinking the same thing with the furnace filters ,but have'nt tryed pouring flour thru them ,but it looks like it will go thru too.Pleated paper filters get 99%.
  2. The first issues were to a select lot and were as big as the saterday evening post back then .i hacve seen the first issues at my friends grandma's house i vermont.I'd say a foot wide by 18" tall monsters.now those are worth bucks.either late 1800's or early 1900's i don't remember the dates.NG's are great reading like readers digest to anyone.
  3. Oh i forgot ,when i scrolled inside for 5 years i sat next to the a.c. intake and a fan blew dust to it .the room stayed clean dust free with a pleated paper filter in the a.c. intake. When i seen the filter bow in i vacumn cleaned it and good for another month.
  4. all great tips .past two and a half years i've been scrolling out doors with a fan blowing acroll the saw away from me.
  5. And WHAT A CROSS,This wall hanger takes the cake.Beautiful control led cutting at it's best! You've done good DANNY,very nice indeed !
  6. Maybe the nose is to close to the grind stone, thats my problem i wear 450 power glasses to scroll and still need to get closer but can't find stronger glasses .Sometimes when doing very minute scrolling i wear two pairs but the eyes get goo goo when finished,Best air filter system i ever had was sit next to the a.c. intake where a 20" paper pleated filter was inserted .all the fine stuff when there and the heavy all over me and the saw. There was never any dust on anything in the house from the central air so it was doing a jam up job in my book.the a.c. repair places could sell you a squirl cage 110 volt fan and you could make a box to put it in .they are very strong pulling dust from your shop or room .try it you'll like it. TIPS AND TRICKS
  7. these are the parts dremil sent me .the 1830 is for the weekend warrior. i would'nt recomend this saw to any body thats loves to scroll.the top arm and the connecting link and the roll pins is all you need to get the saw back up and running.I've had the parts 3 years at least and will now put them in and leave outside for special cuts like angle cuts on project bases.I wore out the first 1830 just short of a year by days and dremil sent me a brand new one back .i wore that one out in two months.not a work horse at all.so if you need to cut your blades to get them to fit in these are what you need.
  8. scare me
  9. IM OVER THE MOON WITH 14 OF MY BEST FRIENDS COMMENTING ON RUSSELLS DUCKS.He is very good at what he does.ill have to do a drive by to snap a shot of the ducks when i find out their roost .I'm still sold on more customers wanting something for their yards.I really would like to try whirley wiggs.wind powered lawn ornaments.they break up the norm of standing still plants and trees. And give kids something to steal and plant in someone's Else's yard for a joke lol

  18. buddy buddy wear a 55 gallon plastic garbage bag with holes for your arm and head under your jacket and you'll be taking off your jacket in half an hour.Heat does'nt go thru the plastic .Put some toast under the jacket to keep it warm also for a snack ,trust me it works.that'll keep you down in the basement till it's time to eat again .
