  1. This is going to be one humdinger of a clock. Mr.Thomas (gator) spares no short cuts in his fabulous creations for us here it the village.I can't imagine what all he's done to his home ,But i'm rather sure with out a doubt it's a mirror image with his ability's .i'm just wondering if this is going to be an all out from scratch workings and all with wood gears.I'm sure there's going to be plenty of modifications. And yes a final work in progress would enlighten us to the vast amount of time an skills involved let alone the trials and tribulations un heard. iIl'be ready for chapter one of this welcome event .Roll em !
  2. Dan your choice of patterns and cuttings are not childs play .You've got to be highly enthused to complete these tedious tasked projects.Your gallery depicts vast amounts of time rendered on the scroll saw too.No quick out of the way project in your home.Great job patterning and cutting sir!
  3. Quite impressive and love the logo on front!
  4. Very clever design and thought out pattern .Beautiful craftsmanship! right on the button, lol
  5. just another though is the people come maybe more as a recreation to look which is understandable. When I vist as a customer I try which is hard to say something good to each vendor and would even like to hand out cheap ribbons as a ice breaker to ones I enjoyed the most and ones that aren't doing any thing.
  6. That's a lot of scrollin years ,wished it was me! Sounds like you've done it all!. Were happy to have any and all here but you take the cake with your experience. 14. you know the only boxes I've made were the dollar bill puzzle boxes.i just can't get boxes square with no table saw Ii sure would like to be half as good as you with box making!
  15. GOOGLE exactly what you want ,puzzle making videos, puzzle making know how etc.I always forget the wealth of information at my finger tips.
  16. No worry's everyday can't be the same. Ill tell you this though, your show case was high dollar items and to bring that out even more add trivial things in there too. The roving eyes can tell in a quick second that this is not low ,pocket change items for me. You set up is the best and quite impressively loaded with highly skilled workmanship, I'm giving your the blue ribbon on that note. I'm still in awe at the array of quality hand cut items. You don't know it but word got around what they have seen with their own eyes .if you become a regular you'll be sought out next time and next time. Something quick and easy and free to give with a sample of scroll saw work is appreciated too if you like. Just a quick something that sets on a desk as a reminder of the show. I'm going overboard on this probably. And for the life of me I can't come up with a suggestion. Maybe a quick pen holder, something you use everyday, Desk fiddle around things as your talking on the telephone to keep the fingers busy as an idea. But your work is top of the line and more for the higher class shows which also cost a lot more. The one show I visited one guys booth was swamped with sales .I couldn't figure out what was selling and thought maybe it was a frenzy with friends to generate sales .but I'm telling you the guy with the receipt book was busy as a cat in a sand box writing sales. And cash was flying. He had jewelry boxes I remember but they weren't selling. Never did figure out what was selling. But the customers were back to back there?
  17. Well welcome to the club. I thought I was the only one that made a boo boo like that .It was so embarrassing I never owned up to it till now. And have done it with other cans of chemicals too. I don't want to repeat what I said ,but idiot was in the sentence! I don't remember what I did to remedy the situation all all the suggestions sound real good to me. Yes spray glue needs to be in a safe adult proof place, lol
  18. IT shouldn't be long now ,it took you 73 years to get where you are now !, LOL
  19. Daniel ,You are one wood worker that that does not let moss or rust have a chance to get on your tools. Nothing sits around idle in your well equipped shop. You may not have it all ,but that doesn't stop you from doing it all! You were quick to learn and found out nothings impossible for you. Your one of a kind projects are going to fill a book quickly at this rate.Just a guess i'd say your a shop teacher somewhere for the advanced woodworkers that want to go that extra step higher in woodworking. Please keep them coming always ,always great work !
