How to catch a polar bear. Cut hole in ice. Place peas around the hole. When the bear comes to take a pea, you kick it in the ice hole.
don't forget now!
Ron you've spared nothing to go the extra mile in each piece you've show us! They all carry your quality done here signature on them too.I'm very impressed with your style of doing things. There's love what you do in each piece!
Moneys money, nobody said it would be easy,if it does'nt work out ,you have that experience behind you .TRY TRY TRY don't fail before you try.i know you can do it some how .show us how it's done.don't forget the zero tolerance for the saw blade going in the table.i like useing a playing card to cover up the hole in the saw table and poke a hole in it for the blade to go thru.Slow your speed way down on minitures.YOU CAN DO IT!
Lots of tips and tricks with the dw788.best one that I used was take it apart and grease all the bearings I could get to with Valvoline synthetic grease. My saw is wore out badly but after the grease job its almost like new again. There was only two bearings I could not get out and one of them was worn real bad in the front lower of the saw.not that this has anything to do with the question here but every little bit helps!
Heppnerguy,It shows deeply you love what you do.The Granddaughters smile will take some time to wear off. RUSSELl an DONR Have succeeded it pulling out all the good stuff to bring this pattern to light.Wonderful job all of you!

For many years ,probable 5 ,I used the big box store blades .I do remember certain blades cut better than others in 3/4" plywood which is what I cut mostly in the beginning. I do remember measuring the thickness of the blades that cut the best for me then with a micrometer .o16 blades worked and cut the fastest for me .I can relate those blades to the # 5 # 6 and & # 7 blades which are the same thickness, I buy from mikes which today I use exclusively and am happy with them. These are the scroll reverse which is an upgrade from the box store blades as little or no sanding is involved with projects using them. Less dust less fuss!
