I have so many things to do .It ends up i'm just doing the things that need to be done.I hope this changes soon as i want to scroll my pants off again.Clocks are one of them .

I believe what Wayne is saying about the zero clearance on your scroll table where the blade goes true it will help greatly.It offers support for fragile thin pieces.

My friends wife run a nail salon.They added vacuums at each station and needed to quite them.I told him to make baffles like a car muffler to deaden the sound.around the DC.Worked out great for him.

Yeah their in business to make money .funny all the time i have on my dewalts I've never had electrical problems?Just lack of grease or a screw falling out or shiny blade holders that need sanding.I've had two dewalt repairs made on other tools and never used them right away .finally i did use them and shortly after the problem was back again on both machines.Guess minimum wages answers that question. This is good to know DW,I should blow out the motors when i re grease the machines,thanks for the tip. i hope for your sake they actually do check out the machines integritty Everybodys looking for short cut ,In and out ,next victim Saddest time of my life having down time scrolling and no back up saw .that only happened once .i'm prepared for that now 10 fold. Sounds like Craigs list,Offer up,E bay, Pawn shops. Walmart even has a site for locals that pretty much covers everything in your town.I lost track of the name of it but googling it different way may help you find what you need,Good luck i hate to cannibalize my 7 dewalts i have for back up's.If you were here we'd get it going again.

I've often wondered that myself.but trial and error it worked out for me.There's been a lot of talk about blades here since i joined in the early 2000's.Any question you have will get the best answers here.Keep asking all you like .I've never seen one we couldn't answer more way than not.
