  2. Hi and welcome Chales. My first encounter with scrolling was in my friends book store, mostly used and magazines .I sena clock that was 2-3 ' high on a cover and looked thru the magazine.Right then and there i said man i wish i could do this.Years later my friend got married and the wife wanted all the stuff they don't use out so i inherited lots of things plus a dremil 14" vibrating scroll saw .Years later i had the time to try it and was hooked ever since.I've spent yeas on inferior saws but loved evey minute of it .I traded my first intarsia's for a dewalt ,imagine that

  7. all the doubting thomas's did'nt even come out of the wood work this time .Looks like i'll be cutting mini bird house with my usual ,scroll reverse blades .Stopped at a gas station in my neighborhood i never been to and there was a sign outside with line drawings of food on it .Line drawings are my favorite so i inquired as to how did them. Ends up the girl i'm asking this of is the culprit.I gave her a mini bird house and card and told her i do wood crafts.I asked her name and favorite color and left.I came back shortly with her name in pink and silver glitter on it .I said maybe we could put a shelve in here with stuff on it ,partner. She smiled shyly so maybe. And the Spencer one is a security guard at publix .she seen another name i gave to someone else there and was commenting on how nice it was.I could tell she wanted one ,but i was wore out and just wanted to go home.Well next time i came there she was out side and all eyes are on me.I walked up to her and said i know by the look that you want to ask me something.Bingo she wanted her name and offered a 20 for it .Whoa!

  14. I was cutting real good with scroll reverse #7's.When i got the polar im had to run the machine full throttle to make the same cutting time as the scroll reverse.not good. The teeth are so close to each other i thought they were hack saw blades. Now i have 2 gross of blades i'll never use.Trades anybody? there #7 polars 11 dozen of each.

  21. If you don't have air conditioning to worry about having a window fan suck everything out is best.I used to sit in front of a ac intake (central and with paper pleated filters nothing traveled in the house. If you can get a squirrel cage 110volt fan and box it up to your 20" x20"plated paper filter you will not see any dust.
  22. I got brand new sagura 16" scroll saw.I finally adjusted everything ,belt drive ,pulleys and all. What a noisy contraption.I tryed cutting some wood and it is pathetic .I should have donated to the thrift store that has a p 20 delta for $100.but instead i put it out for bulk pick up
  23. I've the will to learn new things but the mind is not.Anything you can do will be a big help to you!
