  5. Thanks Todd,i miss seeing your work but i know you put a lot of work into your stuff to get them to look like they do.
  6. ugg! you had to remind me.Yes it all starts with the first one.Once you get going it's like clock work the birdies start piling up and the time ticks away !
  7. I'm not sure but others bird houses look like there's a cut out so the bird locks it''s self on the perch till the glue sets up . maybe im seeing things?
  8. Danny i use rattle can glitter ,Bad thing about it is the glitter lets the pressure out of the can if you don't turn upside down and spray till clear.that way at least you have half a chance of sealing the pressure again till next time.Right now i spray outside on the roof of my car with the wind .
  9. Thanks Paul, what little joy i get is from scrolling!
  10. thanks Bob, i've slowed way down in this heat here.
  11. Thanks Ralph, your doing it right ! If you don't get it all over you your doing something wrong and i'd like to know what that is,lol when i ask if they want glitter on it most say no just because it keeps coming off
  12. Buy grinding the ends of the blades I'm referring to the flat sides that touch the thumb screws.I can push as hard a i nwant now and they stay locked in place from the sanding drum scratches.

  16. Hot off the griddle so to speak! Here you are a newbie and already your a professional.Websters dictionary says that a pperson who gets paid for what they do is a professional! Good for you, laugh all the way to the bank now!you've really takinoff with jet fuel with your scrolling.Look at all the happy customers you've made AND they will be back!I'm going to keep my eyes on your progress .Your going to be a real asset to the club !
  17. The imperfect ,warpage ,that's what i'm looking for .God don't make junk!Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.I cut and glue on name in cedar to get the look i'm after, two tone.Magnificent workmanship here.Keep them coming!
  18. From Chinese saws and Dremil ,going to a Dewalt was night and day.Sure I'd like a better machine but can only afford low priced Dewalts when they come in on craigs list.If my Dewalts are making any noise besides cutting the wood i reach over and nudge the blade tension arm a tad.One thing i like about the Dewalt is staying in tune to the sounds coming from it.That way i can fix the problem before the blade breaks from not enough tension from slippage.I've cut a lot of happy years with inferior saws and had a ball doing it and don't regret a minute of it.I'm at peace with the world scrolling.I'm so happy with the Dewalts i buy them up as i can .Maybe one day I'll get to try a higher end saw but for now I'm happy as a bird with a french fry!
