    My hole is 5/32,I ordered dowel rods this size now .got to get these done and maybe another 100 when my blades come in soon .saving the money now for 3 gross of polar #5,#7an#9

    Won't you be surprised when a customer walks up and wants to buy the dog or the tree or Mr. pen man and you keep the pen,lol .fine job on all of them.From having so many yard sales as a living for a while ,You'll find that everything sells.Some one looks at your stuff and has big ideas themselves as to what to do with it.Great looking well thought out display!

    Most interesting sanding the blades like this ... i can push hard and they stay put.In all the years i've scrolled i could not do that.even turning fast in corners in 1.5 white wood they don't come loose.i think lesson to be learned here is getting some good scratches on the ends of the blades are God sent for the scroller.Less blade breakage from blades loosening up while cutting that you don't know about.

    Joe .,you hit the nail on the head ,my thoughts exactly.I'm slowed way down with these birds as when i need therapy i go back to them.Today i put my first bird on .Still haven't found sticks for the under sized hole i mistakenly drilled .

    Check out yard sales .I got a whole gallon for a dollar.In fact everything this lady had was a buck.I got a brand new spray gun still in plastic for a buck too.

    I used one that was the same size as on the pattern.Ends up 3/16? is supposed to be 5/32" but i found on ling the other big box store carrys that size just a mile away

    You know that ever since i had lots of blade slippage and could not fix it .The sanding of the blade ends with the dremil has done wonders to everything.I can push hard for a long time and the blade stays locked in place

    It pays keeping things around ,you never know when you'll need what ever.

    Out of each cube of whitewood 2x4's i cut one bird but with a little (very little) effort i can get 3 birds from one cutting.
