    Probably the best way to handle it is with out names published as to who did what and where,It can get real sticky fast,same as name calling till it gets sorted out.I stand with DGman's comments

    Got to scroll no two ways about it .My plates been full lately and catching up on to do's list around here .The keychains are aromatic cedar and were cut with a scroll reverse #5 and in half after i cut the letters Then triple clear coated

    No way! i did that too I learned real quick what not to do ,lol Love your work in coin cutting Pennys are real easy try one very soft. i did teresa,in scrypt on one with two places for a chain to connect to it

    P.S. i had the bottom blade holding mechcanism's 4 outside screws come loose to causing slack and knocking noise.

    On the dw788 take the blade out ,then hold the top arm down firmly ,then lift up & down on the blade holder If it moves or has slack localize where the play is and you 'll find the vibrating culprit. While holding the top arm down repeat the same test for the bottom blade holder .Neither should have any slack or play.I had a broken bolt on the bottom blade holding mechanism. It never fell out but it was broken in two pieces.The top and bottom mechanism's is where i could not grease the bearings as they are pressed in.All the other needle bearings you can re-grease in the machine.

    Turns that are too fast will over heat the blade tremendously and they will break on the spot every time.Blades should be tight.On the corners try to hollow it out a little before turning that will cut down the friction. i've thought of oil or wax ,maybe even coconut oil but never read anyone using the oils except for manual hand saw cutters.Keep track where you break your blades as that where you need to change what your doing,Slow speed mean less heat build up to.Sometimes i watch the blade go up and down whole cutting critical areas ,that's as slow as you go sometimes. If all you ever cut in coins is these your a master only breaking a few blades(6) perfect work.You will be the one to watch in metal cutting! :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

    I had two dw788 's that vibrate over 5 on the speed dial.somethings wore out Tighten the stand bolts see that it's square to the floor ,check the saw mount (3) to see if they loosened up.I took one off the saw apart band re greased with Valvoline synthetic grease and it made the saw sweet as a kitten ,but still thee were two bearings i could not get to and the are in the upper and lower front end of the saw which is whee the vibration is coming from on two of my saws.I just keep the speed at 5 or less and I'm a happy camper, Just let me scroll!
