  1. Marg, DW, lolololol yes i do sleep, but i am disabled, so i have alot of time on my hands. DW, yeah thats what we drink, is decaf coffee, another reason so much stuff is being done is we have a craft fair in may, (our first) so i want a lot of different things,

  3. Been a busy week, made these three all from Steve Goods site. all cut on 3/4 pine pecan stained got a few more things ive been working on, almost ready, will post soon
  4. made this yesterday, finished it today, front white part is 1/2 inch plywood, backer is 1/4 hardwood. made it into a shape of an oblong circular blade.... to give it that weird look

  8. RIGHT mike, its pine stained in pecan, but i do have a few pieces of pecan wood left, mainly saving it to make pens once i get the order of 20 pen kits here.

  10. 4 large 1 small jewelry or pen boxes my own design, all of them are hinged left 1 or 2 sides raw to give it that textured look wood is either terap or akikagba, wood pieces i picked up at lumber yard in kennesaw georgia.

  12. thanks Kevin, would love to turn my own knobs, but i am still learning, hopefully soon i can do that, been rearranging my shop, and i got my lathe on a flatter table, but needs some more work put into it, fasting it down thanks again
  13. wood is a mystery, will have to check my book of wood pics, my own design, just used the table saw to cut about an 1/2 inch cut for the lid, scrolled cut the inside box, bottom is oak plywood 1/4 inch red felt finished with linseed oil with an oak knob i got from the store. easy and simple, but looks great
  14. Pattern by Steve Good woods used... for base.. 3/4 walnut, rider and motorcycle 1 inch poplar ,,,, flag is i think 1/2 inch luan finished in boiled linseed oil ive been sick with the flu, finally started getting better this am, so i decided to get out to shop
  15. Mike something like that at a craft show, should sell for atleast 20-30 dollars, i like that, im gonna have to see if i have that issue of the magazine.
  16. pattern for top made by Ryan Blythe aka lizardman2124, base is pine, top and bottom is sandeply, original pattern was made as a madela/dreamcatcher, just omitted the feathers.

  18. the top lid design the pattern was made by scrollzilla, made as a mandella, i just omited the feathers and did the box wood base is 1.5 inch pine, bottom and top is sandeply, and on box the bottom is oak plywood finished in boiled linseed oil
  19. Kevin, congrats on the new toy, what i use for drilling out pilot holes is a rotary tool with a drill bit 1/16th, works well, just gotta keep it somewhat straight. its quicker then using a drill or drill press

These are generic nascar racing pieces, pattrn by steve good i am not sure of the wood, but the number piece is described .... it has the tongue and groove on it, and has an indention in the middle, very easy to cut the carim not sure.. will have to look at my book of wood photos. on Steves Site, he has the numbers from 01 to 99 so im gonna have a ball cutting them all out, hoping in time for the craft fair in may

  22. Marg, yeah its always great when a customer doesnt mind a flaw... to me a flaw has to be in the piece... cause nothing here on earth is perfect... i actually try to put one flaw or another in thanks for the reply Jim
