  2. Cross pattern and bookend patterns by Steve Good cross made of 1/2 inch plywood, stained in honey maple bookend made of 1/2 inch plywood stained in honey maple, horse is 3/4 walnut left natural

  5. i dont have a dewalt, but i built my own work table at the height that was comfortable to me...its not the purtiest thing in the world, but it works
  6. lol if they ever took my scroll saw i would be under the loony bin... ever since i started scrolling it has kept me out of hospitals for depression. the last pattern i would cut ould prolly be one of my whole inlaws in one pic.

  9. hey all, thanks for the comments, now i got a big head..lol yeah it took me 2.5 days to cut, all together it was 170 cuts. yeah i counted them while i was making the pilot holes.

Dan, thanks for the info, yeah i signed up with pen turners.org last night but didnt get around to posting on there, but will definatley do so,reason i asked my brother orderd 2 pens even tho i told him the price b4 i started it, (i guess he forgot) when they were ready to pick up he asked for price i told them 25 a piece but i was gonna discount him 5 bucks, he said im not paying that much for a pen, any ways im rambling, sorry, thanks again
  12. hey all, i am trying to figure out on pricing slim line pens, i am thinking 25 for the basic pens like walnut, poplar, like i made, but i am not sure on that. thanks
  13. Dan, that looks great, i tried making a cherry pen yesterday, but my dang gouge was dull, dont have a bench grinder here to sharpen so ill have to go to my inlaws to sharpen again.

Made this today, its made of poplar, gold nib, clip, center ring, black ink the display came from steve good a pattern he has on his site not sure wat the top part is but the base is cherry. so thats #2 working pen.. woooohoooo my brother bought this and the walnut pen, 25 a piece, me finks these will be a great seller around these parts
  15. Mike yeah 10 bucks is way too cheap, i sell mine for 25 for 1 person, 35 for 2, etc, but if a big family of 5 or more ill give em a good price, especially if you are making your own portrait patterns, way too much time for 10.00
  16. Marg, Google Chrome has the spell checker too, if a word is spelled wrong it will be underlined in red, plus it saves all your passwords. works very well.

  18. pen is walnut slimline, silver nib, center ring, and clip twists to open and close, The first pen i didnt insert the twist mechanism correctly

  21. eye glass holder pattern from steve good, top is walnut base is cherry finished in beeswax The one pic is of me and one of the sergents at the army reserve armory here in town, they loved it, and will contact us for display cases and other works when they get to remodeling the front area.

Both are steve goods patterns, dragon clock is made of plywood 1/2 inch,stained in honey maple, base is pine stained pecan never forgot is made of 1/4 inch sandeply front is honey maple, backer is walnut stain base is pine, left natural the never forgot, i stacked cut them to make 2, and they will be donated to the armories here in town
  25. Clayton, Chris, thanks guys, appreciate the feed back, I brought in the heart box with what i call the tear drop box, cause the fretwork looks like tear drops, neways, my wife fell in love with it. So I did something right//lol
