  2. hey all, thanks for the compliments, sorry it took until today to reply finally got back online today, had a transformer blow out by the road, and it fried my modem, thats 3 modems that got fried, other 2 by storms, well i got a new surge protector with the phone cord runnin thru it. I love these patterns of the animals, i actually made the wolf puzzle one into a lamp, will post soon.

  9. Marshall, thanks for the comment, they are a PITA, but i like doing them. yeah, we are going to a big rummage sale that our local minor league ROME BRAVES team is holding on Sept. 25th, I am thinking and hopin these will sale good,

  12. hey Kevin, well i didnt think of doing ornaments til i saw an article in a scroll saw magazine, guy name sage, did them and it had a couple of patterns in it, so i decided to do alot of them up, all different types, cause on september 25 we are going to a special sale (flea market type) at our local minor league team, Rome Braves, stadium. truck is fixed, still paying on it, will pay most of it this thursday then with my SSDI check on Sept 3rd. Then ill have it back, cant wait , i miss it. to answer your other question from awhile back, my wife connie doesnt do the cutting, she basically helps with the patterns and comes up with ideas for me to cut. ttyl Jim

Kevin, travis, Vector, thanks for the comments, its really appreciated, my wife and I were talking last night that the signatures maybe a stamp, but its still great to get a reply especially after this long of time. i got it in my photo album that ive taken of customers with their pieces... hmm wonder if the Prez would take a pic for me, hmmm i doubt eh.. lol

About a year ago i sent the president a self portrait of himself, got a reply today in mail both the President and his wife signed it, my prices have just gone up, lol wood is pine, relief carved and wood burned. the pic of the portriat is out of whack, had to get this from my site, didnt do so great getting converted.   16. no, no blade, it was the variable resistor, needs replaced, called sears parts center, will be having anew one shortley, i can still use the saw as is just gotta be more cautious
  17. Help, when i turn on my craftsman scroll saw, the motor would rev up even on the lowest setting, sometimes it will slow back down, but mostly stays reved up. any help is greatly appreciated
  18. thanks clayton and kevin, im using stain on the ornaments, scroll portraits i torch the sides,and the corners of the piece. i was staining the portraits but it was just too much of a hassle,

We are going to a flea market type thing that our local minor league team is having, on sept 25, so i decided to make some ornaments. got 4 more that is still drying with a darker stain, I KNOW NOT CMAS ALREADY... but i still got plentyyyyyyyyyyyyy to do... the stocking and candy cane pattern was made by Travis, the bird pattern was in a scroll saw magazine,

Susieq. clayton and hunter, thanks for the feed back, yeah they liked them, the spongebob and the deer scene inlay i have pics on my site under photos, customer orders. plus i gave my niece and sil something ive done, the one with the lil girl holding the frog with lily pad, grandpa made the pattern, i just changed the words to Maylee's room, both kids gave me a big hug.. well im babblin, thanks again
  22. hey Kevin, Thanks, The woman piece loved it, will be mailing off the new jersey one today, and taking the spongebob to nephew this afternoon, i use a 16 inch craftsman, i started out with a ryobi, but parts were breaking, and it wouldnt hold plain end blades. i love the craftsman, so easy, only thing i hate about it is the blade tensioner is in the back, i wanna get craftsman 18 inch when i can, the blade tensioner is in front. Well thanks again, will be posting some pics on my site sometimes tonight.

  24. a few scroll pieces i have done, the spongebob is for my nephew that had a brief stay in the childrens hospital in atlanta. the woman, she was the one that sent us the corn, this and 2 carvings went to her as trade, commisioned piece from my friend in new jersey, of her grand kids the pic was taken from a small cheap camera/camcorder wife took the kodak to work, so the cheap camera has no flash, commisoned is on oak, other 2 on sandeply
