    Hello there

Hi Donna, welcome to the village.
  3. Hi Michael, and welcome to the Village
  4. Nice work, you havent lost any of your skills over the 2 years. Is that cut from a black acrylic?
  5. Great work on the dog portraits Glenn, im sure both customers are very happy with them. That's a sad story about the pitbull, why would someone want to shoot a dog!! Hope he recovers ok. By the way .. I like the font you used for the names in the portraits.
  6. Some people prefer to have their saw on an angle, it allows them to see their work better. As for the angle, just set it to one that best suits you. For me I prefer to have my saw flat on my scrollsaw stand and I use a swivel base bar stool that has a back rest (a yard/garage sale find). I can picture the benefits of having the saw on an angle, but cant help wonder if you need to always hold onto the timber so that it doesnt slip down the table all the time..
  7. Skip is looking good, well done

  13. Very nice Mike, not sure on the pricing, would depend on the price of the timber and the dish, and of course some extra on top to make it worth your while A downloadable plan can be purchased for $2.75 here: http://www.woodstore.net/hotdishholder.html
