  7. Hi John I use the Dewalt 788 and I feed from the top. for me it seems easier . Instead of trying to line holes up from underneath the wood. I removed the guard completely from underneath so I can get to the bottom blade mount much easier.I find it much easier to leave the top connected and insert the blade through the holes from the top . Of course this is my personal preference . They sell easy lift arms you can attach to the top arm , me I just raise it manually and hold it up with my left hand and insert the blade with my right. Hope this helps , Eagledrum70

  23. I finally got the Black Lab and German Shepherd pictures done. These are are going in a dog boarding house tomorrow. I wanted to make a suggestion to all of the scrollers out there. I called around to some local dog kennel clubs today and come to find out that most of these clubs hold dog shows once or twice a year. Some are free and some cost to set up as a vendor. I have a chance to set up at one this weekend and it is free . Now I have 2 days to cut another Black Lab picture , because it is a Labrador Retriever dog show . I thought if anybody had kennel clubs in their area it might be a good avenue to try. Thanks Eagledrum70
  24. I am glad to see your post Mike . I bought a foot switch at my local woodcraft store and it was a momentary switch and I did not like having to hold it down, because I cut standing up and I use mainly 2/0 scrollsaw blades . Not very good trying to hold your foot on a switch and move aruond with the wood. I returned it and I got the idea of using a foot switch from my christmas tree lights The ones you plug lights in and step on to turn lights on. this has worked great for me but I will have to go to my local harbor freight and pick up one of those maintained switches , Thanks for tip Eagledrum70
