  3. Ray, If I had as much money as you have, I would just pay them any amount they asked for. Good, quick thinking on your part Sir! jerry
  4. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/full-list-lowe-apos-stores-161700427.html jerry
  5. Magnifico! Gracias Amiga. jerry
  6. I drill "about" 10-12 at a time. That forces me to get up, stretch & walk over to the drill. On delicate pieces, before drilling I put a Xs on the pattern where to drill. Have heard of "someone" (no name entered here) drilling on the wrong side of the line. jerry
  7. Your last sentence is correct. jerry
  8. Grandpa, Usually I have wise crack for about everything, but right now, I have no words to express.
  9. The talented bobscroll was kind enough to put the text/rose pattern in the Library. I designed the frame. Stack cut 2. Text is 1/8". Frame sides 1/4". Square corners are 3/8". All BB. 40.9 saw hours, but that is slightly misleading. Corners & backers were not stacked. Our Church has an outstanding office manager/receptionist. She told us a couple of years ago that the Psalm John 3:16 is carved on the back of her deceased brother's tombstone. One will be given to her & the other will hang in our home. jerry
  10. On the link, hold down the left mouse & run the pointer across the link. (It should turn blue), right click & choose COPY. Go to this site, left click & choose PASTE. If that don't work, try tomsteve's suggestion. jerry
  11. Haven't had it with this site, but occasionally with others. If it's a site I use regularly, I click "Accept the Risk". That's why we pay the bucks for an anti-virus. Let them deal with it. jerry
  12. To convert "inches to metric" or "metric to inches", Google (number examples) "convert 400 mm to inches. Same for convert inches to metric. To turn a fraction to into a decimal number, divide the small number by the large number. For example 5/8. Take 5 & divide by 8. Result is .625 jerry
  13. We have it Hobby Lobby, but it doesn't interest me because of all the blemishes. jerry
  14. Thanks all for nice compliments. Actually, I cut 3 of them. 2 will be given to siblings & the other one has already gone to the Stephan Ministry at our Church. They are volunteer lay people that take a 50 hour course and visit people to come to the Church seeking moral guidance and a listening ear because they have trouble coping with the loss of a loved one, marital problems, financial difficulties, etc, etc. I give them a quite a few things. Hopefully it will briefly distract the minds of the people seeking help. jerry
  15. Re; Gold paint. It's just off the shelf gold spray paint. Have toyed with the idea of (glitter??) gold, but I use gold so rarely that the can I have will probably last longer than I will. jerry
  16. Some of you have cut this also. It put 29.8 hours on the saw hour meter. jerry
  17. I usually have other things done there, but I would guess that 1 oversize copy converted to red is less then the cost of a postage stamp.
  18. Same here, as I usually make oversized copies of existing patterns. Just tell them you want Red. jerry
  19. Look fella. If you are going to post something like this, at least learn Russian and translate it for us. When I click on SSV, I often get a picture of (Asian women looking for a sucker)(Bosnian)(50+ singles in our area) etc, but darn it the ad goes away when I log in. jerry
  20. I've heard that in some countries you can buy: 1. A board stretcher. 2. A wood welder. At the moment, I don't remember where. jerry
  21. Just when I thought my brain was full, along comes something else. I buy 12" X 24" plywood from Sloan's. http://www.sloanswoodshop.com/ Enlarged a pattern before the wood arrived. The ply is 11 3/4" X 23 15/16. Silly me, I always thought plywood was the only wood you buy that is full size. jerry
  22. Been scrolling since 2011 & have never broken a blade. Use only FD. I sand the ends before installing. jerry
  23. I couldn't open this link. Go to my profile page & search COMMAND AND CONTROL. You will need to scroll down a ways.
  24. After building this, I have since removed the wheel closest to me & replaced it with a flat board with carpet glued on the bottom. To pull the saw towards me, I use the tilt knob to lift & pull. Wouldn't trade it for all the tea in China. jerry
  25. Try looking online for; 1. Pictures of the flag on the internet. 2. For these pieces I went to WalMart & bought the kind of flag that has a mast that clips to the back car window. It is 11" X 13 (or14??) Good Luck Friend. jerry
