  1. Wow I get dizzy just looking at it. Great job.
  2. I was talking to somebody at church and ended up putting the praying hands in the gift shop.
  3. I usually stack three pieces of 1/4" Maple plywood. I cut everything with FD 2/0 and 3/0 spiral blades. I adjust the speed to around 50%.
  4. I have a DeWalt DW788 and love it. If money was not a problem I would go with the EX.
  5. Awesome box. Very nice job.
  6. Very nice Mel, they came out great. Did you do the patterns yourself?
  7. Wow Ron that is awesome. The reflection looks like it wasn't easy.
  8. Wow great basket Roly.
  9. Very nice Fay. I love the frog..
  10. Welcome Jack. Which saw did you buy?
  11. It finally warmed up enough to do some cutting. My wife loves lighthouses so I cut this out for her.
  12. Very nice Don.
  13. Great job and a good sign. I've been known to play a little bass now and then.
  14. Great find Kevin, congrats.
  15. Yes Gary does great work. I work with Gary and get to see his work up close and personal all the time. That is what got me interested in scroll sawing so you can blame him for all my questions.
  16. I can only wish I was a pattern maker. If I was I would have to side with those that would not be happy. It just doesn't seem right to me.
  17. Going through a cold spell. Haven't been able to go in the garage and do any scroll sawing for a couple of weeks.
  18. I use only spirals when doing fretwork with plywood. I guess you get used to it. Roly that came out great, what's not to like.
  19. That would be sweet, hope it works out.
  20. Don't laugh at my welds I was in a hurry. My problem is my drill press is 4" from the riser to center of the bit. Most of the wood for my patterns that I drill are 12" square. That leaves a good size piece in the middle that it won't reach. I can't find anything at a reasonable price that will do the job. I thought I would make this adapter. I can chuck it in the drill press and put a dremel on the end. That will let me drill 6.5 to 7 inches from the riser. I am only using #57 bits and will only use the drill press to control the up and down. What do you all think.
  21. Looks good Roly.
  22. Steve sorry to hear about your shop. Hopefully the insurance takes good care of you.
  23. I usually cut for 3 to 4 hours standing.
  24. Nice job cutting. I am also one of the people that do a light sanding both sides and torch the back.
  25. Glad you are making sawdust again. I like your projects. Does the box hold a deck of cards?
