  1. Sweet! Love to see them cut! That came out great. Good idea of the colors. Brightens it up nicely. You did a great job cutting a tough pattern. Thank you for taking the time to share it with us. Much appreciated. Russell
  2. I wish you wouldn't have asked that question Travis!. These aren't all actual patterns, but pieces parts, or gonna be patterns, or ideas. But they are all my creations. I don't have any from someone else. It kinda makes me a little ill when i see you guys "collecting" the patterns i work hard to make, yet never cut them! Oh well, glad i enjoy it... Here are mine Russell
  3. wow that is just unreal. I'm very impressed. That is awesome. wow. such amount of work. Very good. whew. love it. Hard to believe it is wood. That is stetching the limits. sweet. Where did that pattern come from? Russell
  4. those copper ones must have been expensive, i hope you laid those out better on that material than on the wood. Did you think to rotate everyother one? They always told me, it is just as scared of you, as you are of it... Yeah, bull.... Russell
  5. Oh man Hans, you fooled me. I thought it was much bigger than that. I guess even a small bird would be very cramped in there. Once again, very nice work on this. Looking forward to your next project. Always a pleasure to see. Russell
  6. Shelia Landry was selling that style/idea long ago, the intersecting word art. That's why i haven't done any in that style, didn't want to step on her toes. But now the box has been opened for all. So it is her design maybe, but just a copy. I've thought the same thing since the tut came out. Glad someone else noticed besides me alone. Russell
  7. Very nice Hans, very nice. As usual. But why isn't it for a real bird? Seems like it wouild be fine for a bird. I really like it, i can see a canary in there singing away in his happy little home. Thanks for showing this to us Hans. Russell
  8. Welcome, jump right in. You'll enjoy it i'm sure. Russell

  15. I saw this online, just thought it might be a good idea for someone. I didn't really think a pattern would be required. If someone thinks they need a pattern i could make one of course. But there are many different ways to make this i am thinking. You will know how you'd do it, whether in small pieces cut and sanded like intarsia, or maybe sand and glue it all up, then cut the outside shape. Anyway just thought it looked nice and someone might want to try it. Russell
  16. I really like that, well done. Nice pattern and nice job cutting it out. Thanks for showing that to us. Russell

Like it a lot. Thank you for posting, always fun to see my patterns cut. You did a great job on this one. I like the black best, but are you going to sell it? If not, then i would say it was up to your personal taste as to which color you wanted in there. It might look good with multiple colors, just gotta try it and see. Either way, you did a great job of cutting, thanks for sharing the picture with us. Russell
  25. Oh my! you all are so funny, no i mean whoa, this was tough. I asked Travis years ago, how small can i make .... blah blah. I learned to make patterns, fun, i couldn't understand why "they" couldn't do THAT! Ha. I see, whoa. tougher than i thought. I appreciate all the encouragement, but i think i will let all you pros show me the way. I must admit, i did learn a lot from reading every thing you say, so yes, it was my first, but i had pictured it many times. Thank you all for that. I will keep drawing it, you keep cutting it. Hows that work for ya? I don't know how you do it.. Russell
