  1. Very nice Dave, really like the painted one best, gives nice contrast and shows off the cutting a little more. I like the mix of fonts for the lettering. Just my opinion tho, everyones got one. Russell

  8. lay it face down on a damp rag. the moisture will cause the grain to swell on that side causing it to flatten. Pretty much what Len was saying. You got the back wet, which caused that to swell longer than the dry front. Equal the front out and you should be good to go. Russell
  9. Aye Capt'n, she's a beauty. Turned out great. Russell
  10. Yep, Same here, Capt. America is cool. Nice. Russell

  19. Wow that came out great! haha, man you don't mess around! I posted the pattern at 4 in the morning. By 9 in the morning you had already posted a picture. lol. so cool, glad it all worked and went together alright. You did a fantastic job cutting it. Any problems? Looks great. Thanks for taking the time to post a picture, much appreciated. Russell
  20. Glad you like the elephant, but i doubt that it will work as a reindeer. The legs look like elephant legs to me, and the reindeer has a "face" that makes it look like a deer. I'm guessing Roly is working to help you out, I'd just wait a minute on that. He makes great patterns, it will be worth it. In the mean time you can cut the elephant and post a picture of it cut... Russell
  21. Wow, i missed this post somehow. Thanks for the interest in this pattern and the nice comments! Rolf that is just beautiful. Love it. The cutting and sanding, the finish and the final photo are all awesome. That is going in my folder for sure. Thanks! I really appreciate the pictures of the completed projects. Oh yeah for sure. Can't wait to see it cut. It's been a very popular pattern since i made it. Glad you like it. Russell
  22. This post probably should have been made in the Pattern Request section. I made the elephant pattern as a request back in 2013. I've never seen it cut so not sure if it didn't work, or maybe just never got made. The person i made it for never posted a picture. Russell
  23. Ha he beat me to it! Here's what he is saying, and what i do. Russell
  24. Super! Well done Dave. Russell
  25. I'm a little late seeing this one Katie. But i'm sure glad i did! What a great idea. They look really cool that way. I hope this in no way reflects the status of your relationship tho.
