  1. I guess we all had about the same idea. I did it a little different, but basically the same. Russell
  2. I just tried to change the name of one of mine. I couldn't figure it out. I am guessing you'd have to go to the 'Image Moderation' button. 'Delete Image'. Start over, is what i would do i suppose. You've got some nice pics in your gallery. Russell.
  3. I tried to show you a couple different versions here Ralph. Not the best, but may help in your decision. Russell
  4. Nice! It did get cut! That turned out great! I really like that black background, sets it off real nice. I made that for penquin, he never cut it. Glad someone did! Thanks for showing this to us, much appreciated. Russell
  5. Beautiful. Much work. Russell
  6. Very nice Dan, i thought you would have a white backer for it though, maybe kinda wavy like a flag. GO TRIBE!! Russell
  7. Haha, love the 'diamond' one. how fun. Those turned out great. Thanks for showing those to us. Russell
  8. Wow those are real nice. I really like the contrasting wood on Sue Mey pattern. I think you're going to do well with those. I'm hoping for a big turn out for you, good weather and lots of money spent. Russell
  9. This blogger bought a scroll saw and wanted to make something. So she tried my basket pattern as her very first project. I gotta say, she did a nice job for her first time. It also inspired others to give it a shot, with varying results. Check it out. http://www.thekimsixfix.com/2016/08/scroll-saw-wooden-basket-from-single-board.html
  10. Here's something else he will like, and you'll be cool for knowing it. Its called a quest marker. A Skyrim Quest Marker. Cut from 3/4" it should stand on its own, on his computer desk or whatever. Might put a small base on it..IDK Russell
  11. This seemed like a good idea. Keep your excess cords neat and tidy, instead of the bread ties that i am currently using. Russell
  12. Glad you could use them Skip. They came out great, thank you for taking the time to post a picture for us. For those that don't know, this is the logo for a version of The Elder Scrolls video game. Called Skyrim. Thanks again Skip for posting a picture, much appreciated. Russell
  13. Cool. Nice video. Very nice cutting, and like everyone else, quick huh? Sorry i couldn't get you any more detail on that. Wasn't much more i could do with it. How big is the entire piece? Looks pretty big. Thank you for the awesome video, and taking the time to come back and show it to us. Much appreciated. Russell
  14. Wow! It really does have a 3-D look to it. Not sure if it is the way the shadows are playing, or the color or the angle the photo was shot, but now that i look at it, i see it isn't any different than any other. Maybe the color is what's doing it. Either way, it turned out great! I know you haven't been cutting long, and this wasn't an easy cut. It looks great! Thank you for taking the time to post a picture of the finished project for us. Looking forward to seeing your future projects Russell
  15. That looks fantastic! That Reclaimed Rimu is such a nice wood, and you did a great job of cutting it. I really like that wood, strange i've never even heard of it before you started showing it to us. Thank you for showing this to us. Russell
  16. Very nice Marg, you're allowed to take it a little easy ya know! Glad to see you feel well enough to cut. I hope you're not over doing it. Russell
  17. I like this! I'm very impressed by the super close tolerances you have on the lettering. The bridges between the letters is incredible! I guess i can make my patterns a little tougher Very nice, thanks for sharing this idea. Russell
  18. I think you did a great job of cutting this one. Looks good. I prefer no color i think. But if you were wanting color, I do like the subtle better than the painted backer. I did a real quick look in Photoshop. Here's what i got. I like the all black backer a little better. But maybe all black with the subtle coloring would look good as well. IDK. Everyone is different, thankfully. Russell
  19. Seven portraits! Whew, and two beards, and two with glasses.... dark background.. the woman in the front has hair the same color as her face! Yes that is a very nice job on the pattern and the cutting. I'm with Len, those neckties were rough, I'd have made them a little easier. The woman in the top row with that print dress, another tough one. Yep nice work all round. Russell
  20. Those turned out great. You didn't make a few puzzle cuts in them huh? Well i think they still came out real nice. I'm sure they'll love 'em and have them for many years to come. Thank you for taking the time to post a picture for us. Much appreciated. I thought Iggy would probably help you out on this pattern, these are his specialty! Russell
  21. I assume you don't want to glue it. Here's my idea. But stay on the lines this time. Russell
  22. looks great. like the font and the shape, not square, not round. cool. Thanks for posting a pic Russell
  23. Very nicely done! You deserved to win. They should make talking on your cell phone, while driving, against the law... Russell

    Beatles

I'm thinking you could print any label you wanted and stick over the old label. Its not like anyone is going to play it and know the difference. You might get yelled at for destroying a beatles album tho. Russell
  25. Nice Ike, I like it. But i want the wine in mine! (FTFY) Russell
