If you haven't had it long Nick I would #1 return for a refund #2 have repaired under warranty #3 check manual or google vibration issues and #4 try as above: bolt to a solid stand with a rubber mat between saw and stand. I started scrolling with a Cradtsman 16" and it suited my needs at the time for over a year. A little further research should solve your issue.

Purchased Delta 1" belt, 5" disc combination sander many years ago for $69.00. It's one of my most useful sanding tools. Highly recommended. As for a spindle sander I turn my drill press into one saving me space and $$$. But most of my sanding jobs are done with cabinet scrapers which again saves me many $$. The greatest benefit using scrapers is your not breathing dust.

Fantastic Jack. Love The color and grain of cherry. Well done. A carving chisel and cabinet scraper would've saved you a lot of time finishing the inside of bowl.
