  1. They liked the tilted head one, but I liked the other one.. so I cut both.. Cut the tilted head first and mailed it.. then I started the other one just for fun cause they said the neice would prob take it to her room and not put it on the mantel. She already opened it and put it on the mantel between the other two cuts I did of their Dal and their Weimer mix from a few years ago.
  2. I love them both! I'll have to ask the lady which one she wants for her niece. They are taking her in after her mother died last year, and TD made me patterns of their Dal and Weimaraner/ridgeback mix. I thought that it would be great to cut the nieces dog for her to take to college.
  3. Just looking for the head and neck shot, not the whole body.. I'm thinking the one of him sitting on the floor will prob work best because it has the most detail?
  4. I didn't lose anyone yet. My dogs are still younger. I Just saw it, and figured I know enough people hat have lost one, that someone may want one. I already have to cut 2 more of them.. I have a list of stuff to cut already to keep me busy through Feb at least is my guess.
  5. So I got an airbrush, so I can do the fades for this. Still learning a good mix for craft paint to not run.. but I think it came out pretty good. So it's about 10x12 from 3/16" maple. Cut with Olson #2/0R blades and a modified Shelia Landry Design. Her original design does not come with the paw prints.
  6. Overall, I seem to like lettering.
  7. I haven't seen Cracker Jax boxes for sale in a while at my local stores. I know it's still made.
  8. I think it was about 6hrs of cutting for me on that.. But not all in one day. I do about 1hr at a time. After that, my back will start to hurt, and if not, the dogs start whining too much.
  9. They got it today. Her husband took it out of the box, went to a picture hanging on the wall, took the picture down, and hung it up. LOL.
  10. Those Santa's are amazing. I love them.
  11. Wow.. how big are these? I can't believe the detail in them.
  12. It didn't come out great, but I replaced the C on the ball cap with a mediocre Boston Red Sox logo.. Was hard to find a clear picture that was 3/8" small. The rest I loved cutting. Except for the root root root part.. too repetitive. LOL I also had a problem with the U in the Buy.. the throat hole on the Seyco is long.. and as I was cutting it, it started bouncing up and down terribly. I tried putting my finger behind the blade to hold it down, but it snapped off. thankfully it was a clean cut, so a little super glue and boom.. can't even tell. After breaking that, I taped a piece of 1/8" thick hard board down, and drilled a 3/16" hole for the blade and it made an awesome zero clearance table. I really want to make one with plexiglass now.
  13. I like the heart gear.. I may have to go find that myself. Thanks for saying where you got the pattern.
  14. Made from 3/16" thick Hard Maple. Measures 12x21 in total. Cut with Olson #2/0R blades. Sheila Landry Design.
  15. Thanks.
